Meet Sean Wilson

Sean Wilson is president of Vaquita Intelligence, located in the western suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. Over the past 30 years, Sean has worked closely with his clients in the Advertising, Banking, Clinical Analytics, Credit Services, Education, Financial Services, Healthcare, Insurance, Futures/Proprietary Trading, Printing Technology, SAAS, Software and Transportation industries.

Sean started his IT recruiting career in 1990 and began training IT recruiters in 1995. He was among the founding members of DynaStaff in Oakbrook, Illinois and Allegiant Search Associates, Inc. in Chicago, Illinois. He opened Apache Search Corporation in 2011 and rebranded it Vaquita Intelligence in 2018.

Moving forward, Vaquita Intelligence is committed to servicing existing clients, developing new client relationships, and channeling more resources into Business Intelligence specialization. 

On the philanthropic front, Sean and his family sponsor numerous children globally through Child Fund, Compassion International, and World Vision. Locally, Sean served on the Board of Directors with Illinois Independent Living Center and Katharine Manor Apartments (iilckm.org) in Naperville, Illinois for many years until it merged with Little Friends in 2025. He collaborated and brainstormed with others on the board to provide both his perspective and solutions. Sean took a hands-on approach to fundraising, through garage sales, participating in the Naperville Half Marathon & 5k and assisting with the IILC annual charity golf outing.
